We want to make sure that if your symptoms for your COPD worsen, you receive treatment at an early stage, to prevent you becoming ill and possibly needing admission to hospital.
Opposite is a guidance leaflet for you, which gives advice about how you recognise that your COPD is getting worse, what you should do and which treatment you should start. If your symptoms do not feel like a worsening of your usual COPD symptoms, please seek medical advice.
If you are unsure of what you need to do after reading this information, then please contact the COPD nurse at our practice.
